A month ago, I decided to quit journaling. I have been journaling all of my travels in Paris, London, California, New York, and college. I decided I didn't see any immediate benefit. I actually was hoping to transform my journaling into a job somehow. Moreover, I wanted to share my journaling and hear what people thought about it.
My inspiration for "Why Did I just read that?" was inspired after the grandmaster blogger Scott Dinsmore died hiking in the Himalayas. I actually become disconnected from the world of inspirational bloggers. I then looked for someone else to connect with about finding your passion and started following Tim Ferriss. Tim Ferriss uses a personal journal, but he also makes podcasts with others. He is more of a collaborative writer and shares how other people succeed while testing out their methods and writes about it.
I won't be someone to try micro dosing on Ibogaine anytime soon. I did want to write about my recent ice bath experience. I picked up about 10 pounds of Arctic Glacier ice bags and put myself in a tub on Christmas. I should also mention that it was 70 degrees outside. I felt calmer while reading a book in the tub for 10 minutes.
